I'm Eliott Sammier, a computer engineering student at Polytech Grenoble.
I'm also an idealistic geek, with a tree-shaped mind branching out in every direction. I love free and open-source software, good UX, fixing and tinkering with tech, and solving unusual problems.

Windows in QEMU/KVM with PCIe passthrough
I went down the rabbit hole of setting up a high-performance VM to play games without leaving my Linux desktop. It is now as stable and more comfortable than a dual-boot, and it taught me a lot about libvirt, drivers, and shell scripting.Home server & NAS

- Fix the pesky two-decade-old Thunderbird bug (although it was more recently revived)
- Fork BootBoi to add support for suspend and widgets
- More learning projects in Rust, maybe on an STM32 Nucleo
- Migrate to Sway / Wayland
- Hack my laptop's BIOS password chip
- Write something about Android's Storage Access Framework (SAF) and how it went wrong
- Contribute more to Wikipedia and OSM
